Newlands Rotarians participate in a number of fundraising events in the course of each Rotary year.  The funding raised is used signficantly in the support of our many projects and activities often achieve a two-fold purpose in also providing community service opportunities.

Our major fundraising activity is in running the Course Management of the Cape Argus / Pick 'n Pay Cycle Tour.  Our experience in this area has led to further involvement with the Burger Fietstoer, the UCI B and UCI Junior World Championships.

Our Annual Wine Auction is another major event and, each year, has provided signifantly to the operations of the National Sea Rescue Institute.
