The Rotary motto Service Above Self conveys the humanitarian spirit and endeavour of the organisation’s more than 1.2 million members.

There are Four Avenues of Rotary Service -Club, Vocational,Community and International Service - and in each, and often more of these, Newlands Rotarians are active.

Strong fellowship among Rotarians and meaningful community and international service projects characterize Rotary worldwide.  Through programs like Global networking groups, Group Study Exchange, and Rotary Friendship Exchange, Rotarians tap into an international network of people who share similar interests.
