The 4-Way Test is the cornerstone of all Rotary action.  Of the things we think, say, or do, Rotarians are asked to consider -

• Is it the truth?
• Is it fair to all concerned?
• Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
• Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

The test is one of the hallmarks of Rotary and its four brief questions are not based on culture or religion. Instead, they provide a simple checklist for ethical behavior that transcends generations and national borders.
