Newlands Rotarians were out in force today providing marshaling services to the UCI Junior World Cycling Championships.

A fine Cape Town day with next to no wind provided competitors with ideal conditions.  The route, which started on Hertzog Boulevard, took cyclists down the Heerengracht, onto Table Bay Boulevard and doubled back on that path before heading up toward Hospital Bend and returning to town.  The Women's group, which started at 10:00, did six laps and the Men, starting at 14:00, did ten.
