On Tuesday 5th June, the site was made available to contractors to commence the construction of Noluthando School for the Deaf’s new treatment and assessment centre. Noluthando is dedicated to educating deaf learners as well as other learners experiencing barriers to academic and vocational training, in order to improve their quality of life and give them an opportunity to participate fully as members of society.

Those present thanked the donors and RCN for enabling this very necessary project which will provide vitally important facilities that will allow them to serve their students better.  Those present at the handover included YR Construction; Rotary Club of Newlands; Mfesane; School Dignitaries; Parent Governing Body and representatives from the Western Cape  Education Department.
